I guess this Driscoll thing is more important than I initially thought; actually personally I don’t think it warrants nearly as much attention as it has been getting but that’s my hunch in an attempt to explain the new lineup, though CJ hasn’t gotten the boot quite yet.
minus (-) John Piper
plus (+) Al Mohler
“No John Piper!?” That might be the cry of all the people who treat the conference as the red carpet of the Christian world. With this decision, Resolved probably lost a lot of attendees (no wonder they were giving that $20 discount if you bought the CD), but from my point of view…
…Resolved just got a whole lot more appealing.

P.S. I don’t hate or dislike Piper nor do I factor in the Mark Driscoll debates, which may or may not be an issue. I just have a new found appreciation for the teaching of Mohler, partly because he is much more organized and easier to follow (at least in my opinion).
Edit: I don’t know if this is final seeing that it’s only … August 28th and the conference is in 10 months.
